Ever since I lived in the UK, I’ve missed cycling in the Netherlands – especially since it’s quite hilly where I am now in Nottingham! So, I’ve long wanted to design a pattern that captures my love of cycling.
Once I had the woman on the bike drawn, something still felt missing – until I added baskets with her feline friends! Now I’m proud to present my latest design: Woman with Cats Cycling.
Some of my enthusiastic testers couldn’t resist adding more colours, but the pattern itself is designed to be worked in just two.

• Hook size: 4 mm (US G), DK yarn
• Includes envelope-style border (21 and 7 rounds)
• Pattern colour A (dark): 2950 m / 3200 yds
• Background colour B (light): 3200 m / 3500 yds
• Final size: approx. 197 x 157 cm (78 x 62 inches)
• 313 stitches x 231 rows (+ 21 border rounds)
Interlocking Filet Crochet
Version 1
• Hook size: 3 mm (US C)
• Pattern colour A (dark): 2072 m / 2250 yds
• Background colour B (light): 2072 m / 2250 yds
• Finished size: approx. 147 x 122 cm (58 x 48 inches)
Version 2
• Hook size: 4 mm (US G)
• Pattern colour A (dark): 2500 m / 2750 yds
